Designing and building websites since 2009
We map your audiences, competitors and conversion goals first, then wireframe every key page so structure and messaging are agreed before any visual design.
Hand-crafted designs in Figma built on your brand system: a custom homepage, inner-page layouts, mobile menus and component states that are designed, not improvised.
Corporate websites for manufacturers, consultancies and service firms, with clear service architecture, case studies, careers and multi-location pages, built for buyers who compare suppliers before they call.
For sites where speed, SEO and scale matter most: server-rendered Next.js front ends that pass Core Web Vitals and can grow into web apps.
Content your marketing team can edit safely in Strapi or Directus, served through a fast front end, so one content hub feeds your website, app and landing pages.
A bespoke theme, not a page-builder template: familiar editing for your team, hardened security and a clean codebase that stays fast as content grows.
Custom storefronts with product discovery, checkout and payment-gateway integration designed around how your customers actually buy.
Rebuild an outdated site without losing the rankings it has earned: content audit, URL mapping, 301 redirects, content migration and launch-day SEO checks are part of the project.
After launch we keep the site fast, patched and backed up, and ship improvements month by month on a care plan that fits your team.

What you get from a custom build, what it costs, which platform fits and when a redesign makes sense, answered plainly, including when a template is the better call.
Custom website design is the process of planning, designing and building a website from your own customers, offer and brand instead of adapting a purchased theme. Every page template, layout and interaction is designed for its job, and the code is written for your content, so the site loads quickly and is structured to turn visitors into enquiries. At VOCSO, one senior team in India handles the whole job: a discovery workshop and competitor review, wireframes, high-fidelity Figma designs for desktop and mobile, and a build on WordPress, Next.js or a headless CMS such as Strapi. Each launch ships with 301 redirects, analytics, on-page SEO and editor training. Fixed-price website packages start at $990 for up to 10 pages; larger custom builds are quoted after discovery. We have delivered 600+ projects since 2009 and hold ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO 9001:2015 certifications.
We'll tell you if you don't need a custom build. A well-chosen template is usually fine when:
Key takeaway: if your website is a sales channel rather than a brochure, the design, speed and structure of a custom build usually pay for themselves in enquiries.
Price follows scope: the number of unique page templates, how much content we create, integrations (CRM, payments, booking, search) and the platform. These are our published starting points; custom Next.js and headless builds are quoted after a short discovery call.
Up to 10 pages on WordPress, custom homepage mockup, mobile responsive, on-page SEO.
Up to 10 pages, custom homepage and up to 4 inner layouts, wireframes, CMS training.
Up to 20 pages, up to 6 custom inner layouts, performance optimisation.
Use our website design cost calculator for a ballpark in two minutes, compare our website packages, or request a fixed quote for a custom build.
Key takeaway: decide on scope before platform — the same site costs very different amounts depending on how many unique layouts and integrations it needs.
There is no single best platform. We recommend one based on who edits the site, how much it must scale, and what else it has to connect to.
Best when a marketing team needs familiar editing, a large plugin ecosystem and a fast launch. We build bespoke themes, not page-builder layouts. WordPress website design.
Best when speed, SEO at scale or app-like features matter — marketplaces, portals and sites that will grow into products. Next.js development.
Best when the same content feeds a website, app and other channels, or when editors need structured content with approvals. Headless CMS development on Strapi or Directus.
Key takeaway: many of our builds pair a Next.js front end with Strapi or Directus — marketing gets easy editing, and the site gets app-level speed.
A redesign is worth it when your current site is costing you enquiries, not just when it looks dated. Done well, it keeps every ranking you have earned; done carelessly, it can wipe out years of organic traffic in a week. We run redesigns as a design project and an SEO migration at the same time.
A redesign of a smaller site can use our fixed-price website packages, from $990 for up to 10 pages.
Larger sites, platform changes and content migrations are quoted after an audit of your current site.
Our website design cost calculator gives an estimate in about two minutes.
Key takeaway: redesign when the site is holding the business back, and treat URL mapping and redirects as part of the build, never as a launch-week task.
We learn your business, audiences and competitors, audit your current site and agree goals and success measures.
Page structure, content hierarchy and user journeys, agreed in wireframes before any visual design starts.
A personalised inspiration deck, then high-fidelity designs for desktop and mobile, with revisions built in.
Development on the agreed platform, content population, integrations and QA across browsers and devices.
Launch with redirects and tracking in place, editor training, then ongoing care and improvements.

Our custom website design services cover strategy, design, build and launch. That means a discovery workshop and competitor review, UX wireframes, custom visual design for desktop and mobile, and development on WordPress, Next.js or a headless CMS. We also handle content population, on-page SEO, speed optimisation, cross-device testing, and launch with redirects and analytics in place. Every project ends with editor training so your team can update the site. Corporate and B2B websites also get service architecture, case-study templates and multi-location pages where needed.
Our fixed-price website packages start at $990 for up to 10 pages on WordPress, $2,500 for more custom layouts, $4,500 for up to 20 pages and $6,000 for larger or eCommerce sites up to 30 pages. Custom Next.js and headless CMS builds are quoted after a short discovery call. Their cost depends on the number of unique page templates, the content we create and the integrations needed. Compare the website design packages or get a ballpark from the website design cost calculator.
A fully custom marketing website usually takes 6 to 10 weeks from discovery to launch. A package website is faster and typically launches in a few weeks. Larger Next.js or headless CMS builds with integrations, or sites with a lot of content to migrate, take longer. We agree a timeline with milestones before work starts, so you know when wireframes, designs and the staging site will be ready for review. The biggest cause of delay is usually content, so we plan who writes and approves each page in the first week.
Redesign your website when it is holding the business back, not just because it looks dated. Common triggers are flat enquiries despite steady traffic, failing Core Web Vitals on mobile, a CMS that needs a developer for simple edits, and services or positioning the site no longer explains. Another is a platform that is no longer supported. If only one of these applies, a targeted fix such as speed work or new landing pages may be cheaper than a full redesign. We tell you which one you need after reviewing your analytics and Search Console data.
A website redesign is priced like a new build of the same scope, plus the work to migrate content and protect rankings. Redesigns of smaller sites can use our fixed-price packages, which start at $990 for up to 10 pages. Larger sites, platform changes such as WordPress to Next.js, and big content migrations are quoted after we audit the current site. The main cost drivers are the number of unique templates, the volume of content to move and the integrations to rebuild. The website design cost calculator gives a first estimate.
Not if it is planned properly. Before launch we crawl the existing site, map every URL to its new equivalent, and set up 301 redirects. Pages that rank keep their content, titles and structured data. After go-live we monitor Search Console, indexing and Core Web Vitals so problems are caught early. Most traffic drops after redesigns come from skipped redirects or deleted content, which is why we treat both as part of the build. Our redesign SEO guide explains the checklist.
Choose WordPress when your marketing team wants familiar editing and a fast launch; see our WordPress website design service. Choose Next.js when speed, SEO at scale or app-like features matter, or when the site will grow into a product. Choose a headless CMS such as Strapi or Directus when the same content must feed a website, app and other channels. Many of our builds combine a Next.js front end with Strapi to get easy editing and app-level speed.
Yes, you can update it yourself, and you own it. Every site is built on a CMS your team can edit, such as WordPress, Strapi or Directus, and we run a training session at handover. On final payment you own the design files, code and content, and we hand over all credentials and documentation. If you would rather not manage updates, our website maintenance packages start at $90 a month and cover updates, backups, security monitoring and small improvements.
